Blaise has worked on forest policy for the pasts 10 years on issues ranging from REDD+, forest biodiversity and forest landscape restoration.
Blaise has extensive experience working with governments especially in African and Latin American countries. He has track record for the management and delivery of complex projects for international organizations such as the UN Environmental Programme and Food and Agriculture Organization. The organization and facilitation of consultation and capacity-building workshops, the development of land planning decision-support tools, as well as legal and policy analysis are some of his areas of expertise.
Blaise combines a background in international law and policy with further specialization in environmental studies, giving him a robust understanding of the complex interdisciplinary issues at play in forest policy issues. He holds a Bachelor in Law as well as Masters Degrees in Public International Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, and a Masters in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford.
