Clydecia Spitzer is experienced in the monitoring of biodiversity through the use of developed indicators and outlining measures to reduce the impact of developmental activities on biodiversity. She is also experienced in the implementation of a number of Multilateral Environmental Agreements.
She has a good understanding of the functioning and priorities of Government Ministries, as well as an insight into international organizations. Her work in the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment in Guyana has equipped her with the ability to liaise with a number of natural resources and environment agencies with divergent interests towards the formulation of balanced approaches to natural resources management and environment issues. She is also an experienced project manager.
Clydecia is a Bachelor in Biology and holds a Master in Tropical Forestry and Management.
