
Matías Bosio
Remote sensing, GIS and land evaluation. Agricultural Engineer.
Matias Bosio has worked with remote sensing and land evaluation for more than 12 years. He has a background in the design, management and execution of local, national and international projects with United Nations agencies, governments, NGOs and the academia in Latin America.
His areas of expertise include Sustainable Land and Forest Management (SFM/SLM), ecosystem evaluation and restoration, precision agriculture and innovative technologies, using satellite imagery, cloud computing, GIS and unmanned aerial vehicles as key tools. For years he has been teaching assistant in the dictation of the Remote Sensing and GIS material for the Agricultural Engineer Degree at the University of Buenos Aires.
Matias is a University Agricultural Bachelor and is currently finishing the Agricultural Engineering degree. He has completed additional training related to Remote Sensing + Cloud Computing, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and Tracking and Reporting Carbon Benefits in Land Management Projects.
