Max Lascano

Max Lascano has been collaborating in the design and implementation of policies, strategies and projects that propose integral solutions to the problems of poverty and social inequality in Latin American countries for approximately 20 years, through an efficient management of natural resources and ecosystems in the region.
Its main competences cover the following areas: mitigation and adaptation to climate change, sustainable forest management, biodiversity economics (bio-economy), economic evaluation of the environment, compensation systems for environmental services, public environmental finance, design and evaluation of projects for international organizations such as: IDB, KfW, MIF, GEF, GCF, CIF, BM, with transformation of environmental, social, gender and intercultural criteria, design of implementation plans for REDD+ actions, among others.
Max is an economist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador and has a master’s degree in Environmental Management and Planning from the University of Chile.
