What is this?

This is AAE’s Safeguards Hub. It is the result of our efforts to simplify work on environmental and social safeguards in conservation and communicate it to clients and partners.

Our work over the years revealed the need for us internally for a “one stop shop” where we pool useful resources, whether these are websites, comparison tables, partly automatized matrices to support analytical steps or presentations to explain in simple terms the A to Z of safeguards for all those required to navigate the safeguards jungle.

Anyone who needs to identify and assess social and environmental risks and impacts of activities implemented in the conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and sustainable development sector.

This is our First Version of the Hub, our own little platform. Everything here is considered work in progress and will see updates, corrections and extensions as we go along.
