Climate and Development Finance

We accelerate sustainable, climate-smart investments by integrating climate considerations into financial products and policies, assessing investment efficiency, and identifying investment gaps. Our services include financial pre-feasibility studies, budget negotiations and formulation in line with donor expectations, and advising on optimal financial opportunities. We design climate finance proposals, policies and strategies, conduct investment plan reviews, and develop private sector engagement strategies. Our expertise includes impact measurement, sustainability risk assessment, and alignment with sustainable development goals. We have extensive knowledge of the GCF Readiness Portfolio, offering assessments and data reviews (almost 700 grants and 200 full activities analysed), technical evaluations, and capacity-building, having provided training to approximately 300 participants in GCF accreditation and access to funding.

• Mainstreaming projects: Alignment of projects with sustainable development goals and national policies.‍
• Gap maps: Systematic reviews and development of evidence gap maps and intervention heat maps.
