The incorporation of natural ecosystems in urban environments is increasingly recognised as essential for the wellbeing of city dwellers, providing opportunities for cooling, water and waste management, food production, increased biodiversity, leisure and emotional wellness. Our specialists are at the forefront of the analysis of the state of the urban environments, both constructing evaluation frameworks and conducting assessments in cities in the LAC region and at regional or global level in general (e.g. GEO Cities, Weight of Cities LAC). They also have extensive experience in working on global urban environmental issues, particularly in climate change adaptation, city-level environmental assessments, and the use of nature-based solutions and green infrastructure

  • Environmental Assessments: Development of state of the environment assessments at the city level;
  • Urban Nature Based Solutions: We analyse the potential use of EbA and NbS for their implementation of for their integration into adaptation projects and plans;
