Manuela Barisone has worked in economic consulting for the formulation, execution and evaluation of projects for 10 years, with national and international financing, and with governments, universities and NGOs.
Her areas of knowledge are renewable energy, environment, public participation and gender, having specialized in the management and economic analysis of energy. Her experience is linked to the implementation of renewable energy in vulnerable areas and its impact on the environment, the participation of indigenous peoples in productive activities and the gender approach.
Manuela has a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and a Master’s in Applied Economics from the University of Alcalá, Spain. She took postgraduate courses abroad and received international scholarships, including UNESCO and GWEC. She is a teacher and researcher at the National Technological University.
